Kev, you might have tweaked something when you caught that curb over at WP AFB. Is it a twitch under braking or does it feel like you're out of alignment?

Yeah an out of balance wheel will vibrate or shake while you're driving, not just while braking. I'd have them balanced is my guess.

I am due for a re-torque. I could have them check balance while they are at it.

Ran out to Stockbridge MI and saw a Teal Metallic HHR 2LT on the way there.. He waved at me. On M-52 between Webberville and Stockbridge.

Haven't done a Damn thing to mine since the dealer's still holding it hostage... I miss my baby! On a "positive" note, the tech called me yesterday to say the lower tmap was broken. Oh and the coldside pipe is loose. Yeah umm I knew that already. Spent 40 minutes explaining what the GMTU was to the tech, reminds why I DIDN'T buy a car from this dealer in the 1st place!!

Maybe he waved because your wheel is falling off.....

They are all snug on and not falling off. The wheel vibration is ever so subtle.

You said they needed a re-torque, how would you know if they were snug, or if you took your own wrench to them to check, maybe too snug?

If it were balance it would be speed sensitive......

I didn't say they needed it.. I said that I am due for one since getting new rims and tires.. not that I NEED it.. Discount tire = free balance and rotation and I believe alignment.
