They all stayed parked today while the other half forsook her Spousemobile for the ancient Civic Del Sol. Its almost quiet enough that I can here the "fabulous Firestone Firehawks" on the '11 flat spotting as I type this, oh well, the three or four miles of vibrating until they become "round" in the morning is like a free back massage.

Exactly.

"Driving to FL then?"

Yeah I think so, probably will raid Enterprise for another fine rental HHR rather than flying down in the 60 year old plane. Too many thunderstorms late in the afternoon this time of year, and dodging around them just uses fuel and time. Besides I have this lovely lady who rides shotgun and shares driving duties when the back acts up.

Drove it like I stole it! All's well in Red Hearse land. Granted I paid out the a$$ for labor, but she feels normal again, and I'm glad my bonehead move didn't do ANY damage. My problem was a lower TMAP sensor failure, nothing to do w/ leaving my wrench under the hood. Now to wash it and make plans for the weekend (wish I had more HHR enthusiasts around to meet up with now!).

Ran Paddy up to Spencer NC for an appointment, I was slightly late when I had a mild case of "speeditis" resulting in a warning from a nice officer who was a year behind me in High School. He did wonder if I was starting to drive like my Momma, "you know, full throttle or stop", just assured him I was stretching Paddy's legs when I shouldn't have been.

Just to keep score, that's one verbal warning for me, and my Momma stands at two speeding tickets so far this year. One in my Challenger, one in her Corvette, and we still have half the year to go.

Workin on my Panel, adding more sound barrier.

Paid for some more HHR Parts, a rear door panel to replace a knicked one I had bought. And a few other parts, and I got another Overhead Dome Light for my Panel.
I have been calling Dave (toplesshhr) for several parts and he has been tossing them in a Box as I call him asking if he has this or that. Hope I thought of everything.

The '08 HHR Panels only have ONE Dome Light in the back over where the rear seat would be and aimed into the rear cargo area, I have that one on the way and while I have my headliner torn out I will place it in the Front, like it should have came with to begin with. So I will then have a Front and a Rear Dome Light.

The rear view mirror Map Lights SUCK, and don't even shine into the dash center compartment with the door open, so you Can't see anything in it at night.

(The '09 windowed HHR I originally got my rear seat from had them both in the headliner, I set the headliner to the side and started tearing out the rear seat and once done left the salvage yard forgetting the dome lights I wanted to take.) OPPS!

I did not want to reinstall my headliner without adding in a Matching front Dome Light.
Once it arrives I will install it and start putting the rear and side interior panels back in place so I can get the seats back in and DRIVE it.
