The last 2 days have just been too hot and humid out to work on the sound barrier, but tomorrow is supposed to be cooler so I will continue working on that. I want to get the floor done under the seat areas.

My Greaseless Compound Set arrived today. 4 Different Grits. I will try them out on my Blower Polishing maybe late tonight.

I just found out my Tracking delivery date for the Parts I bought including the Dome Light I am going to add, they won't be here until the 16th, so that puts my Headliner on Hold until then.

And that means putting the interior back in is also on Hold until I get that light and then install the Black Suede on my headliner.

My Glow Shift Boost Gauge is also on its way, Might be here tomorrow.

I havent driven my Panel since I tore the interior out and I am getting itchy to drive it.

One project just rolls into another one, wanting to put in my new audio leads to soundproofing the whole car, then that leads to Now is the time to add that dome light up front while the interior is gutted, so take the headliner out to sound deaden the roof and wait on the light, so that leads to, I Hate the light gray headliner, go get some Black Suede Material, so that the headliner can be changed to Black, think up a design to use to maybe create an embossed headliner.

I found a cool Skeleton reaching out at you, but not sure if I can pull it off in an embossed design for the headliner or not yet.

Then drew up a spider web with a spider in it, that may be easier to do.

Several Classic Rock Band Logo's maybe?

Still UNdecided on the whole embossing thing, I like the full Skeleton reaching out to grab you idea the best, but still unsure it would look good as a one color embossed design. LOTS of cutting the foam board and would beed to do it in at Least 2 layers thick for the bones in front to the ones showing through in the back.

This would look pretty cool if I could pull it off, but one color embossed in the headliner might not look as cool. I'd actually have to carve some of the foam pieces to include some details like the spine eye sockets the teeth nose opening jaw lines cheek bones etc.

Time may dictate I just glue it on Flat and get onto the Audio.

I do have an image of an embroidored skeleton hand giving the Finger that would be alot easier to do.

Was also enjoying the Ice Box A/C as wifey & I did some cruising testing out the GMPP CAI..

Verdict is in.. I really like this Air/box..I'll like it even better after I make a couple changes to it....

It is quieter than originally thought it would be, but has a welcome rich deep tone, & matting the go-pedal does sound & go better.. Low end is very noticably improved.

Gas mileage seems improved as well. More traveling will reveal actual numbers.

I thought you'd like that GMPP intake kit sleeper, I've found the pairing of that and the GMPP exhaust to make a lovely noise when the loud pedal is depressed.

I also noticed an improvement in low end "grunt", at least on the Butt Dyno, as far as real world hp gains, hard to tell. I did see a slight improvement in mileage, but we're talking less than 3% overall, and that was while light footing it and trying to be economical.

Honestly, that growl and snort is so addictive you'll find a drop in your mileage until the novelty wears off, its just too dang much fun to not bury the throttle when you have any little excuse to do so.

I made some more of that noise up my favorite hill, wot 1st and second to 22lbs then lift and listen to the decompression down to 50 to slide around the hairpin at the top. You should have been there it was fun, that's on the way to the office.

Ummm...no, never has for me!

Paddy got all up close and personal to another HHR today. I stopped at the pharmacy to drop off a couple of prescriptions, and a girl behind me at the drive through smacked me in the rear end with her Mom's HHR. No visible damage to either Paddy or the HHR that attempted to ummm..."mate" with him, not so much as a smudge.

The poor girl who thumped me absolutely freaked out and insisted through bouts of crying that I take my HHR to a body shop to have it checked out. So I've got her name and her insurance info, but I will be astonished if anything is amiss behind the bumper. So this afternoon its off to Mynatt Chevy's body shop to have them take a look. I gave her one of the HHR.net cards I had printed up, so maybe if nothing else, we'll gain another member.

Oh well, its been a weird day anyhow...probably the heat getting to people because everyone is acting goofy around here.

843 that's no way to meet young lady. I was following one of those stop short guys this morning,I could not get them to do more that 59 in the fast lane. Just kidding you, I'm sure it was an accident hope they don't find any problem.
