I drove up to Bow NH yesterday to get a pair of 90% tread Eagle GTs for $100/pr. off CL.
Today I got 2 new ones with all 4 mounted & balanced for $355

Total for 4 Eagle GTs mounted/balanced + $15 gas = $470

Here's the trashed tire that came off the left front that kind of explains the vibration through the steering wheel

.

Dude you like to live dangerously, check that alignment. I'm guessing your car drives a little better now.

a bit better

It's getting an alignment from my mechanic's buddy for $65 early next week

He trusts very few people to do alignments and I'm getting a deal at $65 (he says the average price is $80).

He's been using them on his SRT-4 for years and highly recommends them.

We have similar driving styles but he does triple digits too much for me.

If they're good enough for him...

I like em already after 20 miles

Got the oil and filter changed today , first visit to this Dealer ,Good news First oil change no Charge
Bad news had to get the $300Tranny Flush, $308Throttle Body recommendation speel . No Thanks
Car only has 41000 and runs and shifts fine .
Next time I'm at the auto parts store a bottle of Techron will save me $300
Looks like I may have to drive a little further to a different Dealer, but they all probably have the same speel

Wasn't sure where to put this as it's not a classified..... I'm not selling these but watching them.

eBay number 220812494741

16" Eagle Alloy 192...... 16X7 5X110 fits the HHR. Set of 4 and they look clean, lots of photos, good seller it seems as well. (Honest, I don't know the guy) If you follow this type of wheel the 16" are no longer available. They are in Ohio too...... Somebody here needs to grab these! I can't afford new wheels, but if there were 5 of them I'd have a very itchy trigger finger...... Daddy wants a full size spare,

Anyways...... back to your regularly scheduled posts.

Just an update, took Paddy to the body shop this afternoon to just make sure there was no damage from the thump in the rear he took earlier today. Everything is just fine and dandy, no hidden damage much to my relief and to the relief of the girl who popped him in the butt with her Mom's HHR.

As a side note, gee whiz Mowgli try not to cut it so close on the tires next time...we'd like to have you around here for a long while, driving around with the cords showing might not let that happen.

I think a sudden hard right turn could have peeled the rest of the tread right off.

We noticed the cords yesterday, I got new tires on today. All right already

We just enjoy your company around here. By chance do you have your tires rotated every time you change your oil, I have found that the tires last a lot longer and they will point out possible problems that need attention, give it a try.
