Got another door ready for putting the interior panel back on.

Hope to finish up the rear doors today, but they are calling for thunderstorms later on. So it may be a lazy day of doin Nothin.

Washed my car for the first time in months. First the black top road I live on was ripped up, and left as a dirt road for over a month. Then when they finished the road, I went in for some surgery...

It is all Black, Shiny and Chromey now.

New battery day for the Paddy-Wagon, the original Delco has been acting sluggish and after five days of sitting it was really lacking in punch yesterday. When the usual "chirp, chirp, BARK" of starting changed to "chirrrrrrrrrrrrrp, chirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp, chirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp, BARK" it was time to plonk in a new one.

Went with another Delco 90-6YR, just to keep the critter all GM, also a new vent hose assembly because the nipple/elbow on the old one snapped off in the battery...seems to be a common thing with age. Should be done with battery replacement on the HHR's until the 2011 hits 4-5 years old.

Had my guy at Midas install my new R1 slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads all around. He's a Ford guy but has fallen in love with my hearse. Now he wants one after seeing how much power mine puts down to the ground. Then I came home and installed my new wheels and tires. Oh yeah, washed it of course. ;-)

well, the belt tensioner gave out on the ol ride, belt started squealing, and wouldn't boost over 4 psi

i also started to clay bar, buff out the swirls, and wax the Panel , got the driver side done before it started getting dark
