It's a good bar, regardless of what others on the forum say about it. (*cough* Moon *cough* ) Mine has been on for over a year and I got it used...... No issues and the car handles like it's on rails. Keep checking the torque and/or use some loctite.....

They come in a 4 speed auto, and I have how long till next years birthday. Still have to wait for GM to get me my car back before I can trade it in most likely.

GMPP CAI lid Before / During, & After

Before: Note the amount of Orange Peel... I hate orange peel

During: cut-n-buff, I got it about 75% smooth, but still very mild orange peel, but any further would have burnt thru. And it just didn't Pop for me, imo..

After: NOT exactly caring for the chrome-like look, this was my choice of finish for my lid, something different..

VHT* wrinkle plus.... Not for everyone, which makes it more appealing to me..

I sand blasted everything, then powder coated the base to prevent any possible rust issues from developing.

The Lid I shot with VHT* wrinkle plus paint, since it is aluminum, I was concerned about it warping in the heat, baking powder coat..

Back to on topic, had a dream I was driving Paddy on US 129(The Dragon) today, does that count as "doing something" to your HHR?
