Nothing too fancy, just added some baby moons to the wheels. After 1.5 years of saying I was going to do this, I finally did the job lol. They aren't a perfect fit, so I may have to go back and redrill the holes for the clips, but this works for now. Also, I need to paint the wheels...

This is a whole lot better looking than the bare steelie wheel look.

Oh, no I sure don't. I didn't even think to do that. It wasn't too hard though. I guess if others wanted me to, I write up a "how to" or something.

Ah "Pea-Chicken Point", it is pretty up there Oldblue.

As for me, I fired up the '06 to listen to the engine, then everyone got a quick flick with the California Car Duster.

Our trees are "shedding" and the wind blows just enough fine dust past the weather stripping to give the Beasties a light coating after a week or so.

5 day hunting trip and 535 miles,,, my longest distance trip on the HHR since getting it and making the repairs to the body,, I'm liking it more and more by the MILE! I am impressed with the fuel mileage, 1535 miles and it is getting 31.9 mpg overall average, with the dic reset before putting it on the road. Mostly short runs, and with the 09 2LT 2.4 and 3:91 gears I'm loving it.

I got about 34 mpg going south with light headwinds quartering me, but coming home with 10 to 20 mph tail winds all but about 30 miles of it, as the front changed closer to home, it was unbelievable. Watching the instant MPG range from 36 to 54 mpg as it run up and down the slightly rolling terrain with the wind behind me, I almost thought something was lying, or the gas I bough before leaving for home was juiced?

It's a 187 mile trip and used just 4.8 gal. of 97 octane. The hole trip 535 mile, 187 both ways, with the remaining 161 miles, just short slow country roads in the hilly winding southern Ohio hills, to the hunting area and back to the house, and averaged 30.9 for the entire 5 day hunting trip.

I didn't drive it like I stole it, well maybe a couple times, but didn't baby it either, mostly gentle accelerations up to speed and set the cruise at 58 to 60 mph, set back and crank up the Zeplin, Stones, Clapton, Moody Blues, Dylan, Joplin, Joe ****er, Allman Brothers, Seger, Crosby, Stills, Nash, ZZ, Skynard, Doors, Who, just one of the Road trip CD's I burnt.

Be head'n back Sunday night fer 5 more days,, try'n to get er done before firearms season!

Oldblue. . . . Good looking youngan !!

My did is in the future for my panel.
I am gonna drive it on my LAST night of News Papers.
Giving up the route and wanting to find other work.
Time for a change and indoor work would be wonderful.
