Hope everyone is ok, no injuries, besides the HHR, they seem to be sacrificial. Doesn't take much to total one, but they seem to protect their occupants well.

No Mike there is an adapter for that, turn it on any time. I myself don't watch tv while I'm driving, I don't want to see if mine will protect me, but the passengers can watch it.

Yeoww Bill, that sounds bad..Sorry to hear it.. As the others commented, I hope all are ok too..

today was heavy rains, so the Mopar did the running....While my buggy slept..
My firestones are like slicks in the rains anyhow..And hard as rocks.

We sloshed to our favorite restaurant in Troutman NC to celebrate our fifth anniversary. It was pouring on the way over as the Paddy-Wagon did its best impression of an offshore powerboat slogging through heavy seas, in other words it was an old fashioned Carolina Frog Strangler.

As usual the food at Pelligrino's was fantastic, and by prior arrangement they had a dozen red roses and my little surprise ready. Along with the card and another teddy bear for Michelle's collection, there was a nice little box containing this. Yup, I got her a Fiat 500 which will be here in about four more weeks, ordered up a 2012 Cabrio in white with a red top and interior.

She's over the moon right now, even though she is sad that I sold off my '61 Corvair Greenbrier to cover most of the Fiat's cost.

That's what she keeps saying, but she's worth it.
