I turned the Speedwagen Panel into an ambulance for my transport home from the Hospital, after having surgery to repair the ripped quad tendions that resulted from a news years eve tumble down the basement steps..

I folded the seats down all the way to the dash board, and had the hospital transporter slide me in from back. The transporter was very curious about what happened to the windows.

My leg is in a full length brace that makes it neccessary to haul me like a stack of lumber.

The bad news is today my wife said the little check engine "thingie" had turned on as she was on her way get me some chow...I think maybe the Panel only wants my paws wrapped around the steering wheel, plus I talk to my ride,so this may require some HHR couples counciling ..does the drive train coverage include this?

New wheels coming

Washed the 'sled' yesterday....but today ordered a set of Wheel Vintiques rallyes w/ caps & rings from Summit Racing. Plan to have them painted red and decide on tires during that time. In the mean time, any interest in
Cruiser Alloys on 215/55/16 Firestone Affinitys w/ 60% thread left?.. not sure when original owner added them. Check gallery for pics. May keep for winter/traveling wheels as another option.

Ouch!

Speedwagen,

Take care of that repair to the leg! Sounds like no fun whatsoever.

You right, man.
I am in Russia. And it is difficult to obtain parts.
But there is no problem. Some parts I order in the U.S. - waiting for about a month, but small price. Some parts I get in the Russian shops, this is part of the other cars. For example, stabilizer links - from the Camry, the front brake pads - from Lexus, radiator pipe - from Lada; and some gum and oil seals - I do not know cars, selection of the sample.

Take care of yourself there Speedwagon, as a member of the "leg don't work right now" crew i know what you're going through, just be patient and let yourself heal up.
