Neither do the inhabitants here, the news said we had 748 reported accidents, crashes, by noon. I stayed home, and took pictures of my little humming bird buddy's.

It is really cool sitting in the sunroom with the snow all around.

Only 748 accidents huh? That is a normal Monday morning on I-85 in perfect 70 degree weather without a cloud in the sky, it really gets ugly if it rains.

New Headlight bulbs in. I used the remove one screw and 2 pins and pull method. Ten mins or so per side. Was very nice of GM to leave enough tail to pull out the bulb and see which side is up . Oh and thanks to the poster of the how to that mentioned to watch out for the gasket that doesn't want to leave its home

Now that I've graduated to a cane for walking I decided to try and catch up on some "honey do" things around "This Old Condo". To that end, I cranked up the Paddy-Wagon for a run to Lowe's, of course I took a rather circuitous route since it was a perfect January day here in the Southland. OK, so its only 6 miles from my condo to the Lowe's on a normal day, but on a sunny day with nothing else to do....the route mysteriously grows to 70 miles. Hmmmmm.

Its amazing how when I was "able bodied", the worker bees just looked right through me and my puzzled looks as I roamed the aisles trying to find a "34mm left hand threaded semi-metric flanged widget valve".

Now that I'm relying on a cane and have the looks of someone who came out on the losing end of a bar fight, I had to beat the clerks off. Honestly, Lowe clerks mystify me at times, but compared to the escaped homicidal maniacs at the Home Depot, I'll take them any day.

But just to prove to my loving spouse that I did eventually make it to the place where they sell repair kits for Delta faucets, here's Paddy at the Lowe's, parked in "semi-outer lower Siberia".

The dripping guest bathroom faucet can wait until Saturday, ain't no way I'm fixing it in the morning, bad enough that its my birthday tomorrow.....no way I'm playing "Pete the plumber" on the anniversary of my hatching.

You'll be glad you did. They help.

Other visors are available, I think it's basically down to the one that a few places still have for the HHR. A more modern look but could be covered in fiberglass and shaped a little more retro in the right hands.

The one like I just bought used is the only way your gonna find one, nowadays. keep lookin, I did and it payed off for me. It's just a matter of Time before another one shows up someplace for sale.
