Bird Crap

I had to wash off a dozen splatters of bird crap the size of half dollars off my shinny black paint and then dig it out of the weather strip at the top of the driver's door.

Don't you LOVE birds?

Cranked up the Paddy-Wagon to hit the local steakhouse for lunch while waiting out the Daytona rain delay, ate way too much. Just wish the remote start option came paired with a "fetch" option for when you've parked in "Outer Lower Siberia" and you shouldn't have had the cheesecake.

Bird **** - the real acid. I once saw a car, a bird **** ruined paint, varnish became dull. The owner of a long put off washing.
Since then, I avoid even the smallest bird spray. What these birds eat? Only devil is in the know.

Its because birds don't urinate like other animals. If you look at a typical bird poo, the white part is concentrated uric acid, and the darker part is the actual feces. So when they crap on your car they are actually having the bird equivalent of a pee too. Its the uric acid that eats into your clearcoat and paint.

Why is all this stuff stuck in my mind?
