Maybe you shouldn't get that SS, you would have been going 110, Bryce might not have been so understanding.

My court date is tomorrow, Hope the Judge is lenient.

You do know that a "lowly normal HHR" can do 110+ right? I'm just glad I didn't have the Challenger this morning, no written warnings for 150 in a 65.

I HEAR they can definitely do 100... but I have no actual first hand knowledge... that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Don't know for sure, but I can assume they are speed matched/rated. Don't believe Chrysler is dumb enough to put 100 MPH tires on a vehicle that will easily do 150 PMH.

can't remember specifically, but I think the stock HHR tires are rating 140 MPH.

Goodyear F1's ((90Y) speed rating)came standard on my Vette, I've done 171. The car is rated at 186 IIRC. Tires are in excess of 186.

Course I think 150 is kind of slow for a Challenger R/T. But it is pushing a lot of useless iron around.

The Challenger R/T with the Super Trak Pak comes/came with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires in 245/45R-20 with a speed rating of "Z" in the 2011 model year, the 2012's have been coming through with Firestone tires in the same size and rating.

Z speed rated tires are for use at continuous speeds in excess of 149 mph. So its tires are appropriate.

As for 150 mph, its capable of exceeding that, as I found out at a non disclosed location last year. As for doing 150 on the interstate, that was just kidding around with Sam, I'm not that crazy or irresponsible...although setting the cruise is mandatory in the big Dodge, it will find its way north of 100 without constant attention...its a sneaky devil.

This afternoon on my way home, the cruise in the Spousemobile was set at 70, no more "Blue Light Specials" for me today.

I don't find a regular HHR lowley, it's my second favorite ride, but you know I'm a SS fan. I'm sure they will all go over 110, if you find a big enough hill.

Drove mine over 100 miles today, 27.3 mpg, got to love it with the Trifecta on.

Went out to the driveway and quickly installed the rear door stone chip guard mouldings.

Had the 3M Tape on them 2 days ago just waiting for a warmer sunny day.

We had rain and cooler temps the last couple days.

They covered the one or two chips I had in the area, touched them up last fall with a dab of Black paint each, but now they are all Gone.

Hopefully the weather turns better for the weekend, not looking that good in the forecast at the moment tho. Thunderstorms on Friday.

I want my Rolled Front Visor ON next !
