Nice.

You all know what they look like. I'll get some tomorrow once I have time to wash her and delete the rear wiper arm.

Third times the charm?

Dropped off Sirius Blackie for his third repair in two months. For those who don't know, for some reason, a black HHR with pink pinstripes seems to be a target.

Late January I was rear-ended on the freeway, final cost: $2,000

Boy and I picked him up from the dealer, and went to Costco. We were inside about an hour, we walk out and I say to Boy, you know, that shopping car is a little too close to the fender.

Sure enough, bashed in fender, hit and run.
Cost: $600, I had to pay my deductible.

Pick up car ... run errands, head on home. Watching a kid behind me with his head bobbing up and down (meaning he is texting and/or reading a text--illegal in CA), keep going. Come to a stop at the light and well, he doesn't stop -- bam, right into the bumper that had just been replaced a few weeks before.

This time I had the car three hours.

Thankfully the pinstripes have been spared so far ...

Well I drove mine into work this morning, made a few calls from the bluetooth (which I absolutely love!), and looked down at how much fuel I still had and realized how nice it was that I may be able to get a whole two weeks out of this tank! Also checked the tracking information for my LEDs and they are out for delivery
I am not sure if I would call it bad luck.I am just a stickler for having things right I guess.
I can finally officially say I am very happy with my new SS
Waited for Gm corporate To get back to me,they have been trying to make a decision on this alignment issue for about a week now.
I called left message for local dealer svc manager 3 days ago no return.
So I finally said I need it done so brought it to a huge independent local shop who has some extremely knowledgable workers and a newer alignment machine.
Love my new SS.Still hoping GM will at least pay me or credit me back for the alignment that was done or should I say not done.
indepent shop even redid the toe adjustment better than Gm just did for the second time and also was able to bring the camber into specs.Drove it an it acts and drives better than ever.

Amazing how well they drive when all the wheels are pointed in the right direction isn't it Big Jack?

Hopefully our Chevrolet rep here Evan is following your saga, GM needs to be a bit more proactive...hint hint hint.

You're taking it well Len, some folks here have been driven to rants of Biblical proportions after a bulb change.
