I bught the INNOVA 3100 at Wallmart for $82.00 have had for over 2 years and it works great.

I got it at Autozone or Advanced. It doesn't give a definition, but it does everything I need and works great.

any 50 dollor OBDII reader will read any OBD code on any Car after 2001 if you want to diagnose a manafactuer specific like GM abs or ford Body codes you need a 300 dollor reader and another 2hunderd for the softwware. i have a Snapon OBDII that came with Ford Truck SBS for free and and i might get the GM package.

will work and they give some web based repair info.I have one that I have used with my Dakota.It will also data log and show running condition info. O2 sensor voltages and other accessible PIDS.They also have a scan add on that will scan and pick up all of the available PIDS in the ECU that it can communicate with.It will clear mil codes too.Pretty neat device for the money.
