What kind of car did you give up for your HHR?

Love it!
Whoa not sure I would have rid myself of that old SS for any car..... I hope you got a boat load of cash in that deal. At least 15 Large. That 64 SS was money in the bank drawing interest.

from Honda Element to HHR LT2

GM never export HHR outside the Continent, same as Honda Element. So I have to import them to Qatar (Middle East).

I like the unique shape for both cars, but after 5 years with 06 Element EX-P, I decided to replace it with 2011 HHR LT2. I’m sure many people will ask “what kind of Chevy is this”? similar question for my Honda.

Some time when I take my car to the Honda agent the entire employees take a photos with car, and the ladies there they admitted as a “sexy car”

I considered myself a lucky guy when I got what I want in fair price. I like driving my 08 Challenger SRT8, and weekend cruise in my Benz 560SL.

2011 HHR LT2 will be my daily ride.

A white 98 Olds 88. Great car only 66,000 miles. Blew a headgasket on it. Didn't want to invest that kind of money in to 15 year old car.

I don't know that this truly counts as "giving up" as I was stationed over seas in Spain, but I had a '99 Seat Ibiza. Then when we got back stateside I picked up my HHR. Love it!

I had a 02 Dodge Ram 1500 which was great on gas when l had a 5 minute walk to work but not when l started a new job with a 40 minute drive. The Ram was running good & still looked good but had over 220000 km on it & needed some work so l decided not to put more money into it. I started out looking for a small car & came across my 08 HHR Panel online which l thought would be better, great on gas & could still throw some tools in the back when needed.

1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 2 door, painted the interior dash and center console redand did the exhaust and a CAI it was faaaaast I loved it! She was my first "sports car". But after dropping 2 engines in it at $750 a pop, and a tranny. After the tranny blew and anihilating the driver side of the car chuck norris style from anger of the tranny goin out, it was time for something different.. so i picked up the 07 HHR LS bone stock with 74k, i wasnt fond of it but i knew it was reliable and with a 3 month old daughter thats what i needed especially with a CPO warranty, but now after making it my project i couldnt have made a better choice! love my hhr would only trade it for an SS

I totaled my '99 Chevy S-10 in a snowstorm, which made it the perfect time to shop for a new-ish vehicle. Tens of minutes of searching and test-driving, and billions of dollars later, I had my 2011 LT.

The best part is that, when I changed the cabin air filter last week, I found a Roy Orbison CD behind the glove box. You don't get that with just any car purchase.
