My SS panels sticker with destination charges was $28,030 and that's fully loaded less the roof rack

Do they consider a panel a +$ option or a -$ option?

I don't think I'd buy an HHR SS if I had to pay $27k-$28k for it. Once I approached the $25k+ stratosphere, I'd spend a little more on something else. Just me.

Mine stickered at 26ish IIRC. With discounts and financing it was roughly $24K when I pulled it off the showroom floor. I could've had a BFM '08 SS with 15-17K miles for $17K, but it was a manual and I can't do LHD stick driving.

I just bought my 2010 SS for $27,975 two weeks ago. Mine came with the automatic and fully loaded as well. GM was offering a $4,000 incentive on all HHR's including the SS when I bought it. Plus, I owned a Pontiac and got the GM employee discount. Grand total of incentives $6,000. So really, I would have paid just under $22,000 if I didn't put anything down or have a trade in.

Couldn't even get a base LS Camaro for that price. They were only offering $1,250 in incentives for the Camaro. To be honest, the base Camaro doesn't have anything on the HHR SS with better mpg to boot. Plus, everyone has one. Now if I had the money, I would have went with the Camaro SS but there're way over priced in my opinion. They should be around $30,000 for the base SS but the cheapest I could find was going for almost $34,000. Yikes!!! I'm glad I went with a car that actually isn't common. I think I will be a lot happier.
