I'm beginning to wonder what options I didn't get on my 08 that caused mine to be only $25K. The only I can think of is the XM radio, but that was only like $200.

Bluetooth, Programmable Display, USB option radio and maybe Onstar to name a few? Of course the '10s had to pay $100 for a spare tire too. And base price was probably higher plus inflation on all parts.

That's one of the silliest things I've ever heard...

We have two 2010's in stock, a black one for $27,500 and a crystal red one for $29,000.
I paid $26,500 for my loaded 09 SS by the way. Love my SS but in all honesty, I feel $23,000- $25,000 would be a better price. Cars are fast as hell and fun but you still get that cheap plastic interior that GM still uses. I also would have loved leather, heated seats as an option in the SS like my 2LT had in it. The cloth SS seats are cool but leather would have been a great option too......

A mish-mash model would've been very cool...kinda like an RS/SS Camaro?

OnStar comes standard for first year. I don't believe the others you listed were even options when the 08 models came out. I'm comparing what I paid to what others paid for their 08 models, so inflation and newer options are not an issue.

Is the '10 model just a carry over from the '09's?

My '08 LT, 2.4 5spd panel was stickered at $24k. Employee price and incentives got it down to $19k at the time. My '08 5spd SS was used with 8k miles and was stickered at $25. I got it from a guy here on the board for a whole lot less the that.It was worth the 500 mile drive to get it. Found out it was also a GM show car for So Cal in '08. has everything except leather which I don't like anyway and has the sport seat on the drivers side only.

In the parking lot yesterday was a '10 with both front seats being the sport seat, but it was an automatic..when I was looking for an SS a few weeks ago, all I could find were automatics and they were all stickered at $28k +. Glad I found the used one.

As far as the panels holding their value, I can attest to that. Mine was totalled and I got almost as much as the SS cost. There were no others optioned like mine. Drove the insurance claims guy nuts...LOL
