I'm in the process of buying a '10 SS. What is the difference betweeen the standard "Remote Vehicle Starter" and the "Advanced Vehicle Starter 2-way"?

I did a search, but didn't find what I was looking for.

I have the 2-way starter and it works well and it's great to just glance at the remote to check to see if I remembered to lock the car and then lock it from inside the store. The range is great and the battery life has been good.

I just wish the stock remotes still worked with it or an extra remote didn't cost so much. Unless I'm wrong the remote itself is not available and you have to buy a second kit to get a spare remote.
