I asked on the linked thread, but I don't think it went through.
How many of you are running the CGS Intake and did you see any increase in performance?
Does the stock intake put "quite" in front of performance?
I know the location may not be ideal, but does the increased flow more than offset the higher temp?

I have been testing parts here at my shop, so far the stock parts have been surprisingly good....the air box has next to no vacuum (still going to make an intake to see if there is a difference but I'm not counting on it) I just finished a bigger IC last week end and hope to test it this long week end....Plus with a little help from ADM I will maybe get an exhaust done. Will keep you all posted.

I slipped a vacuum gauge into the airbox and found nothing either. I'd say GM did well here. The only value-add we're likely to see (at least with the flow of the stock BW turbo) is to get colder air into the intake... I've been contemplating how to get "out of the fender" for that, but as you indicate above, that may not do much for us in the end.

good info.......but check ou this link to TurbochargedGM.Net

great read and innovation on that member's part.......this is somewhat along the lines that I suggested for the "ram air" effect using the opening above the radiator....he beat me to it and I am glad that he did, as he did all the ground work for this mod.........looks sick....as the younger crowd would say
and read the whole thread.......
