I can see when I have a chance of winning a fight and when to wonder if it is worth my time making that fight. When the sh##storm gets big enough to support my position then I will do what I see as right. Thanks for your 'valued' opinion, but do me a favor. If you always have this amount of tact, keep your opinions to yourself.

Did you have to pay anything out of pocket? Such as for the mileage you had already put on your '08, and the price increase of the '09?

after purchasing countless new cars of the years i know one thing. You never should have to have your position supported. Any time I ever have an issue with a car it has been resolved. Even if they have a hard time duplicating it, I simply would demonstrate it for them. All i am saying is you must be going to one hell of a dealer if you feel like this. If you are dealing with a dealer that has forgotten that you are a customer who gave them money, switch dealers and file a complaint with gm directly, dont risk your own safety over it...

Sorry I have to agree with M.Harper - the killer comment you made was referring to his post as "that is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen posted". Not sure how he was able to keep his composure in his reply but IMO that was a little over the top and unnecessary.

I met about a guy who had his 07 repurchased due to a glue smell from the interior that would not go away. He got pretty much the same deal and it did not cost him a dime more.

GM took care of him and even came to his house to check it out from Detroit.

We find this is a consistent issue. When we first start the car the boost gage is only at 2-5 on the vac side. After about 30 seconds it is sitting around 10-12 or so and then we roll. No brake pedal issues this way.

Goofy as that is both the wife and I have trained ourselves to do this and the issue is 100% non existent this way.

By the way the pedal is rock hard and does not go to the floor when the vacuum is low. A pedal to the floor is something else and by no means should be ignored or dealt with like I have described.

I am sorry, but to post that you aren't going to take a car in to have a faulty brake system checked out for any reason is stupid. You run the risk of not only hurting yourself, but others on the road. It seems to me like he is hoping something bad happens, and that bothers me.
