I contacted 3 dealers in my immediate area with no luck. When I inquired about the Brembo front brake package for the 2008 HHR SS they all told me they had nothing listed. Would you have a part number or a number of a dealer that has any clue regarding this?

Do you know if Chevy / GM has specific dealers that they identify as their performance dealers? What I mean is, dealers that specialize in servicing or parts for chevy performance cars. Somewhat like Ford did with identifying dealers as SVT authorized.

One suggestion.
If you see one with the factory Brembo's, get the VIN#. If you ask the parts guy to pull up the "exploded view" of the front brakes he can identify all of the parts/numbers. If you also ask him to pull up yours, you can compare the parts to see what's different and thus what you will need. I think that it may only be the rotors, calipers and pads?? Not sure about brake lines, but the comparison might help with that.
There is at least one guy who has done it, maybe he can chime in.

I have found that without a VIN#, they can't pull up the drawings.

Look it up as a 09 not an 08. I do not think they will have anything on Brembo's bor a 08 listing just 09.

Any dealer can get the parts. There are no special dealers.

I noticed I left out the rotor part number. They are 15893541 (made in Germany) and are $88 to $175 each depending on deal or no deal with your local dealer. GMPartsDirect is closer to $88, but shipping is very high, mostly due to weight, and your dealer won't charge for shipping.

Thanks Aaron, just for clarification, do I need to order 2 sets of the "brake pad hardware kits", and 2 sets of the "10 part brake bolt crush washer" (20 total pieces)?

Was this your order? If so, how did you get the discount? My dealer would only give me 10% of list on the armrest parts.

Sorry about that, I fixed the post. You only need 2 sets of brake hardware and one bag of 10 each crush washers.

The pricing listed is from a dealer where I buy parts from. You can get the same pricing, but since they aren't a supporting vendor I can't post their information. I can PM the information if you would like.
