Seriously, I wish that I could do something like that as well for the days that I have to leave my ride at the Park/Ride lot with my car pool. Damn birds and sun are paints worst enemy! At least when I drive all the way in to work there is a nice cozy spot under a roof to park for me!

I know exactly what you mean!!! bird s*** & sun is a car's finish worst emeny....I was praying for those 2 weeks that the birds wouldn't mess with me, and did I luck out!!!! Not to repeat myself, but if the bird stuff bakes in your paint, it is damaging for the clearcoat. That alone is reason enough for me to cover the SS whenever I can. Of course the side benefit is it stays cleaner longer......

try it and you wont ever use anything else again on anything polished, or dont, that way more for me....but you dont even have to rub hard, super easy for a super clean shine.....been detailing for 10 years and i would of killed for this stuff back in the day trying to keep some 22" Boyd Coddingtons clean

You sure they didn't forget to clearcoat that set of wheels? I've got 6K on mine and they look great. But then if you wash the car every other day like I fugure you do then that may be the cause of the scratches. Saw a guy that washed his 82 TransAm so much he finally wore through the paint :-)

you are to funny and so right, in that I did that to my 1st car, a 66 Impala Coupe, had to get it repainted.....

I am sure that they are clearcoated, I have not used anything on the wheels other than microfiber cloths to wash & dry. If you look at the wheels from a distance they look great, but as you have seen in the pics, when the light or the sun hits them in a certain way, that is what you get. Still undecided what to do, but am in the process of sending GM pics and a letter.
