What I'm saying is turn it back on so the i/m reads clear, then just erase the codes if they come up in the future.

When tuning with hptuners you can turn the codes off so they don't set light.

The I/M reads won't 'clear' if there isn't a cat for it to monitor it's function....it's a functionality check which can't be completed if one (or more) of the components aren't there to be monitored. Some states don't even use that as part of the OBDII test, unfortunately, the O.P.'s does.

That actually should work since the I/M Readiness Monitor 'reads' the cat at the upstream O² sensor. But you'd have to weld a bung into your catless downpipe.....

Depends on the Downpipe, I believe most come with a bung in them for the O2 sensor.

Ive been away for a few days moving stuff up to college. Sorry for giving more details in the original post.

The cat warm off is turned off and it doesn't idle poorly. There are no codes to pull with OBD2 scanner so its more then just turning off the CEL. I have a switchable combo tune of HP and Trifecta. Would keeping it in only one mode for 50+ miles fix the readiness issue?

From what Ive heard the 02 sensor will have to get turned back on no matter what? It looks as if I'm going to have to order the piece to keep the o2 sensor out of the actual pipe.

Thanks for the help always appreciated.
