Nothing wrong with clones...
Have you ever watched the Barret/Jackson auctions ?
Lots of clones, of every type of car.
Beautiful HEMICUDA clones, that I'd buy, in a heartbeat...
So your're saying women, shouldn't get boob-jobs too...
A lot of beautiful girls out there, with nonstock equipment...

There's a guy around here with a black 2LT with SS badges on. I was just cruising up our mountain road when he blew past me. Had to show him what a real SS can do punks. That's all they are. But what I'm guessing is they think those badges are instant 100hp increase lmao!!! Just like Honda owners all know hehehe

Does this one count? Fe5 suspension with fat summer tires. Would beat the SS's at the autocross, and keep up with em in the twisties.

I think auto cross, as long as you have something decent, is probably 80% driver and 20% car.

At least with an HHR it's pretty easy to determine if it's a fake, with a little bit of knowledge. I have 2 L78 BB 69 Novas and without documents they can be hard to prove, even worse I get guy telling me it's not a real SS because me car doesn't have the bright trim. I usually them they need to explain that to GM, because all my paper work says otherwise lol!

Where I live, SS HHR's are fetching just shy of $20,000, that's a lot of rebadged and rebumpered LS models. IMO opinion, they're not fake until they try to tell someone they are. To each is there own, I say build it the way you like it and enjoy them. To those buying and wanting a real SS, do your homework, there's information out there to help identify a real from a clone, it's as easy as having a deal run the VIN for you.

That's actually kinda cool when you think about it.

Now putting one on a prius seems insulting..
