Call GM customer service and have them get involved. It will probably shorten your waiting time.

My turbo took almost 4 weeks. BTW your turbo is covered under the 100K powertrain warranty

i have got good news today gm is shipping me a turbo finally i cant wait to get my baby back on the road

I had mine replaced back in February, same thing cracked housing.

I would not try to convince you that a problem is not a problem, but in this case, I would just like to add some perspective and perhaps put some folks's minds at ease.

If the cracking you experienced was in the divider that separates the manifold into two sections at the turbo inlet, it is not cause for concern. All designs of this type that I've seen for many years will exhibit this style of crack. It's not troublesome over the long haul, as it does not spread or lead to further failure.

That being said, I am happy they are replacing the parts, thus giving your car a new lease on life in those areas. Good luck with it!
