i agree with that bart 100%. if you are going bigger turbo, then yes hp tuners is the way to go. me and eric(gcsd) dynoed our cars before bolt ons, tunes only. i put down 261 and he put down 264. he had hp tuners and i had bsr. i'm pretty sure i'm laying down the same numbers as you are after full exhaust 3in dp no cats,etc....

Did you read Barts dyno #'s in his sig, that is a GM tune with a tune over it, no turbo upgrade and its a HHR SS?

HP Tuners didn't unlock the tables by the way, Trifecta did there is a huge friggin thread on cobalt ss network, he also unlocked th fan controls and found a spot for a extra input for use (he was asking people what they would like to see used for). Do some reading.

Well I guess its lucky for you I have the GM Tune and getting the Trifecta also. The only mods I'm adding are a DP, IC pipes and Dry flow filter (no its not Hahn parts). Since no one has dyno'd the two tunes back to back on a HHR SS, I guess I will be the first since they will both be on my car sometime the beginning of the year.

Yes I do realize they aren't the same cars (HHR vs. Cobalts), but they both have LNF engines in them. So 2 cobalts, one with a BSR tune vs. other tunes should suffice. Good luck finding a cobalt with a BSR tune. I prefer not to use any of the manufacturer sites or cars as they can be biased sometimes.
Now if you don't mind, post your dyno sheet and I will be kind to link you the dyno results from cobalt ss network (since they seem to be the only ones who really dyno the LNF engine). You can sift through all of the different tunes yourself. I didn't see any BSR Tuned LNF dyno results in there. I bet if you look hard enough you can find some other people from Texas who have dyno'd there cars with other tunes so there numbers will be close to accurate like yours

I'm pretty much done with this thread till you show evidence of what you claim. I have posted evidence above for you to go look at and compare.

The dyno numbers in my sig are with full botl ons and JUST the stage kit. The numbers with the HP tune on top of that will be coming in the spring when i get my new clutch in

And ill say this. Once i got my car tuned there was one hell of a difference from what i had with just the stage kit. My tuner said i should be sitting around 330whp and this guy knows his stuff. For those who go on cobalt ss. net his name is 06black

It sure sounds like we have a bunch of people that need to meet on the track cause you can dyno all day but if you can't drive, It's just a number. I know ya'll understand that.

My two cents worth on this : If you don't have dyno numbers to prove your [susposed H.P. and Tq.] then your just blowing smoke. Saying your getting such and such H.P, and Tq. without anything to back it up, don't amount to anything. Put up or........!.
When I go for H.P. and TQ. numbers[ soon], I'll post a dyno sheet, before I spout off. Everyone should do likewise.
I'm still working on getting my SS, looking a little different than a stocker. Gitty-up comes next. "Moon"

Agreed Moon! I have my dyno sheet numbers posted for my Stage kit + Hahn exhaust in my gallery for those interested in seeing it. I do suspect still that the numbers should read higher but only another trip to the dyno can confirm that. I didn't get a chance to get to the track this year either, hopefully this coming season!

It's all BS until a dyno slip is posted....and those can be suspect too.

<--------- This guy posted a 7.1 in a stock Aveo. See how easy that was.

Can you clarify this statement? Are you indicatating that the BSR product offers multiple tune flashes for the HHR customer? Or are you saying that there are multiple competitors offering tunes? I just didn't follow what you meant by your original.
