There was a time I thought blackening the lights was cool. Now I like them bright as they should be..

I use model car window tint from the hobby store, it has a cherry color, better than that tailight tint. Then I clear them.

Tried this stuff. Still available. Does not look as good as promised. Could not get an even coat, only orange-pealy mottled. I suppose several coats would be more even but then very dark. A light smoke wrap with bright LEDs to make up for the dimming will probably make me happy.
