Ok I can see what he did now. I've got a couple of these cars and ones an SS panel. That's the one I'm thinking of putting the rear seat in. When I was at the dealer yesterday I saw a black 09 SS AA5 that someone had installed panel doors on making it look like an SS panel but retaining the rear seats and belts.

The only difference between a panel with the rear seat and belts installed and an AA5 with panel doors installed would be the AA5 would be missing the door release buttons on the dash and the key fobs.

Sweet job on your Panel American & Proud. I have installed seats in mine. You can puts the seats all the way down and have the same amount of cargo area. Or put the seats up if you have a passenger or two. It is a win-win situation.

Yes your right the key fob and dash buttons sure make it easier to open the doors from the outside. I did sit in the back seat of that aa5 when I was at the dealer and there is a closed in feeling without windows.
