hit 138 in my auto ss, what can i do to go faster?
that windsheild does look pretty crappy, started as a small chip under my wiper, then during the winter months if texas, had to put the defrost on to melt the ice, well you know what happens when you mix hot and cold. my result a cracked windshield. will get replaced soon. bugs on the other hand, going that fast, don't really have the chance to dodge them. I also made sure there was no incriminating evidence against me for the law breaking incident that occured, just didn't see any vids online with our cars going faster and was like what the hell.
TSK TSK ...see shoulda talked to me your friendly Neighborhood Safelite glass repair medic ...you could have got to that 140 ...
Safelite.....my savior this year. 3 months after picking up the SS had to have you guys save the windshield. Then last month had to have the truck windshield repaired. Just wish I would have seen the chip in the margin on the W/S of the STi or it would have been 3 for 3 in 2010.
The SS is capable of speeds up to and past the 140mph analog speedo indicated as several road test reports indicate. Note that the Michelin website has the below listed tire pressure changes required for speeds in the upper ranges. Check out the website for the tires your car has, double check your owners manual and be safe, don't just go out there and do things without the proper preparation. Nobody needs to be losing it at those speeds.
W-Speed Rated Sizes:
Maximum Speed (mph) 118 124 130 136 143 149 155 161 168
Inflation Increase (psi) 0 1.5 3.0 4.5 6.0 7.5 7.5 7.5 7.5
