There is an elusive modded black SS in the Kannapolis/Concord area, I see it in traffic almost weekly. But do I ever see it parked somewhere so I can leave a business card under the wiper inviting its owner to join up here, nope. I'll catch up to it someday.

 

I'd love to "play" with one locally but I never see one and when I do it's some old guy cruising along

I've only seen one around here since I purchased my HHR...before that I don't think I paid much attention. I've started keeping my eye out for them and Cobalt SSs. I've seen a few Cobalts lately with that big ugly wing but nothing that looked to be modded.

 

Just saw my first one! Right by my office in Hollywood near Hollywood Blvd. and Cahuenga. It was a clean, black one, with those stick on vents on the sides of the hood. It had a custom plate with the last two letters IV, I think.

I saw a old guy driving a black SS panel in Fife yesterday.

 

I was in for an oil change and asked the service person how many the dealership services.He said "Ahandfull,with even less SS's" I only see another victory red one with the 69 Camero write racing strips

 

I have a black 08 SS and have traveled a lot and have seen 2 (1) black (1) silver it appears that these babies will be rare at some point
