There are quite a few of these underhood... I'm looking for a part number or pointer to some of the "2-up" ones that hold a pair of 1/4" or 3/8" looms. The one pictured below is obviously only a 1-up version.

 

At your local parts..(I know Oreilly's does) the "self help" section,the ones with the red packages. They have a book behind the conter that has all the avail goodies like that.Pretty thick,has all sorts of widgets.Can't remember the name of the company though.The counter guy will.If you ask straight up they probably will not know unless they have browsed thru this book.Great source of finding those small parts that seem to be only found at junk yards.

 

Ah, I didn't think of them either... I think the line is called "Help!" or something similar. Thanks for the reminder.

 

Just returned from my local NAPA... they looked at me like I have a third eye in the middle of my forehead. While I actually DO have a third eye in the middle of my forehead, they couldn't have seen it under the brim of my baseball cap...

They looked in this book and that manual, then looked on the shelf, then scratched their heads, then finally came to the conclusion that there is no such thing. I then took them outside and showed them the stock ones under my hood. That was a mistake... as they immediately chimed in unison that that was a factory-only item. *sigh*

Is there anyone competent in this BFE town I'm stuck in?
