The rewards are more then just 10, 15 or 20 hp, I added Clear Image turbo back exhaust with high flow cat with magna flow muffler and resinator, picked up approx 4 1/2 mpg and the differance in performance is huge, I believe its well worth the money your going to spend

With a larger and better free flowing turboback exhaust you will get faster turbo spool and therefore get to your power quicker, but a 4 1/2 mpg gain from a TBE?

We should be able to get it for about $500-550

It will take a couple weeks to get in stock.

Otherwise keep in mind Hahn does have a very nice, and very popular, cat back for the HHR SS :)

i paid 599 for my 3" catless TBE. we were at a meet and SPPD who is a member on this site dynoed like 23hp less than me and then only things i had more than him at that point was the bigger intercooler chergepiping and the full exhaust. So yeah the exhaust makes a huge difference

Will I drove it to the location for the exhaust and charge piping change and averaged 26.4 mpg and home averaged 30.8 exact same driving conditions a total of 225 mile round trip, sorry but thats what it read, I'll find out for sure over the 4th weekend, going on its first major road trip of about 1000 mi round trip.

Exhaust

A friend of mine just installed a Flowmaster catback on his 08' SS the sound was good and little to no drone on the freeway. The best part they retail for under $500.00 As everone knows Flowmaster quality is a-one.......Mofo
