(and yes mine is running correctly. No boost leaks and hitting full power by the RPD readings)

Like the tech from GM's performance division told me. In a nutshell, "It will put out the amount of boost needed to obtain the power levels required by the ECM and the torque management programming."
Your peak levels aren't even near mine when I originally had the GMTU installed. I can and have on a consistent basis hit 23. I have nothing to prove, just stating my true stats. too bad you need to tell others of your poor stats. I chatted with Bill (the GMPP developer of the tune way back in 08 and he told me that that was consistent numbers with the Stage 1 at the time. He also told me the ECM would learn down if the vehicle was not driven to performance. Now what?

Well I guess you're right and everyone else is wrong.

Fwiw. The guy I talked to was named Bill. He told me my boost numbers were fine as long as I was making the hp/torque. I've been hitting that 19-20 since day 1 of the install. Learn down, I think not in my car since it's stayed the same.

Not even gonna go there. My SS is perfectly fine and runs well.

Good for you. Hope you find what you need. I don't need to.

Gee, you think "North" might have a different baro than Alabama?

I don't understand "Hope you find what you need. I don't need to." in this context, did I miss a pissing contest somewhere?

Plus donbrew, I'm at "sea level Alabama", so yes it would be different than anyone who's at any elevation.

Pissing contest? Not here. Just trying to keep some false info from being posted that EVERYONE should have 23 lbs of boost or more. Just isn't true.
