Is there any difference in the HHR Pioneer premium head unit and the "regular" sound system head unit?

I didn't think my HHR SS had the pioneer sound system but the subwoofer grill says Pioneer on it.

Just curious as I can't find pictures anywhere.

Only thing I can think of is the non-Pioneer system would have no sub and the radio powers the speakers. Pioneer one has the amp and sub.

Its rare to find an ss with the base system. The premium head unit has a CAT button. Yours may also have a USB port.

My head unit does have the CAT button and the USB plug.
