Question regarding the "mysterious" RPD
From what I have read someone on the cobaltss.net try to install the rpd and couldn't do it unless he replace the wiring harness along with the bcm. To tell ya the truth its alot to do put rpd into car without it.
Ok!
I found this thread just by doing a quick search. I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed... but I still feel optimistic? I'm not sure yet haha.

Anybody else have some input?

Since all of the 2010 HHR SS's came with the RPD, maybe, just maybe, the main wiring harness in the cabin of the 09's is the same.
You could look up the part number for the 09, and 10' wiring harness and see if they're the same.
As far as just plugging in and working. ????

There two diffent harness one that had rpd and ones without trust me I search this long time ago cause my car didnt have rpd was wondering what would take to do it. Its more trouble then it's worth. I when with after market gauges that do the samething.
