Roof rails question
I would lose mine in a second if I could. They are in the way when you wax and wash. I just don't like the 4 holes in the roof with out them.
To me it reeks of the Family truckster and Fake woodgrain. Just my opinion right or wrong.
I guess I just would never use it since I would never sit anything on the roof to haul it anyway. At least the SS is not chrome and blend in better.
Give me the clean smooth look anyday. Less is more to me.

Changes.........
You can always make changes......It depends on if you are willing to pay the cost........My SS came with them (Rails).....I didn't have any choice.......but I figured with 50 years experience of modifying cars and trucks and building custom parts for the same, I'd take a look at it for a while and then go for it......what ever it ended up being.......So I decided they would really look good, color matched to the Victroy Red.......Same for the gravel gards. An with the hood work in progress......Either a 50's- 60's pro styled scoop or reverse it to a Pontiac shaker style hood........The scoop is done but have not decided which way to go......Guess I'll just have to sit and look at it for a while..........Son has a 2006 HHR and wants the 50's-60's hood scoop.........well we'll see...With some people, it's a matter of money, but with me it's a matter of how I feel when I get up in the morning...
