I am fairly new to owning an SS (3 weeks now). I purchased a 2010 with the performance package and only 24,000 miles.

I am curious to find out if anyone knows, if it's possible to change or add things to the RPD programming? Like make custom colors, or parameters.

There is some customization you can do such as gauge colors, layout and such. Just have to turn the knob to the setup screen then "push" that knob to enter that section.
I haven't changed much on mine recently but remember it can be confusing trying to do the correct sequence of turn knob, push knob on, push knob off. Play around with it till you figure it out or get it all wonky. Let us know.

Thank you. I should have mentioned I knew that already. I would like to add a color that's not in there. I want to get custom gauge faces for the physical gauges, and want to find out, if I could make one for the RPD

 

Sorry. Changing or customizing the actual firmware in the RPD...............that's waaay above my pay grade.
As far as I would want to go is maybe a custom faceplate inlay for the actual instrument panel.

Be warned though. The SS will not run with the RPD unplugged. (If you were thinking about taking it out to do any programming mod attempts.)

 

I have read about the not running issue. Thankfully, I don't need it for my daily driver. I was just wondering if anyone ever attempted to modify one?
