Hey Rob. This thread has evolved into talk about 2 mods. The sway bar and the upper mount. Which one were you talking about for your next mod? The sway bar did nothing for my torque steer(not why I bought it). The mount cut torque steer in half. The mount also seems to take out the slack feeling on the 5spd. You know the accel/decel slop you feel when easing on and off the throttle when in gear. Probably from the engine not rocking as much as the stock weak mount does. Only drawback is the increase in engine vibrations you feel.

Yes, get one. Well worth it. Did you look at my pictures? It also looks good under there.

No help on my SS. Sway bar went on first and it made no difference. Don't really understand how it would anyway. I got one for the handling. Maybe it works on the LT's softer suspension just not on a SS.

everytime you drive even more.

Please be more realistic about the time required to install the upper mount. Although the job is not difficult it does take time. Sure 10-15 minutes to replace the mount, plus 5 to get the bottle out of the way, 5 for the jack, 5 for the air box, 10 to get tools together (assuming you know which ones to get), 5 to move the car if you need to, set the torque wrench, double check everything, 5 to re-install bottle and air box, remove jack, put tools away, clean up, you get my point.
The sway bar is also an simple job. FYI I used c-clamps to hold the metal tabs with the welded on nuts in place while I installed the hardware with Loctite.

I am using the TTR bar as well and I like it a lot. Really keeps the car flat around corners. It is noticeable all around though. Quick lane changes feel sweet compared to stock as the body roll is limited. I am still on an FE1 suspension, but I have Eibach springs, and FE5 struts coming next week. I think with the TTR bar and new suspension, the HHR is really going to rock!

I also installed the TTR trans mounts and those seriously helped the wheel hop. They add a bit of vibration, but it is worth it to me.

Next up for me is the TTR upper mount.
