So higher or lower if running over 125 Hit the limiter once at 132mph but have since changed it to 150.

I run F-hawk Wide Oval at 32-34psi cold. They stay within 35-37psi if it gets hot during the day or the driving gets spirited.

Remember the faster and longer you run the more heat a tire with lower pressure will build.

This is mostly what happened in the Ford Explorer deal. The tires were not the best and people ran them lower than they should. Heat will make a tire fail.


This also is why we have no high speed rated white letters. The white rubber in the tire will get hot and fail at higher speeds. I think S rating is the highest white letter. They do have some letters now on some but they are like a press on like the NASCAR and Indy tires.
