Tinted the front windows

Mine are 35% on the sides (Missouri legal), but with the lighter looking car, especially in sunlight, they seem to look darker.
A tip to those who tint the sides (legal tint)... it's a good idea to keep a receipt with the tint percentage in your glovebox from the shop who did the tinting in case you're ever questioned.

Businesses in TN that tint windows place a small sticker in the lower right corner of the driver's window with their business name and stating that the tint is in compliance with state law. Businesses that will tint darker than legal do not place the sticker on the window, accept only cash payment and issue no receipt. They are very clear about not being held responsible if you get a ticket for illegal tint. If you look, you can spot cars with this sticker and those without.
That is not something they do here but a very good idea. I'll have to keep an eye out for those this August on my trip down to TN.

Here in Florida if your tint is legal (Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. Front Side Windows Must allow more than 28% of light in. Back Side Windows Must allow more than 15% of light in. Rear Window Must allow more than 15% of light in.*) your supposed to get a sticker on your door jamb saying it meets state requirements.

Just a comment on California tint. The main complaint (and a very legitimate one) for CHP regarding dark tint is that if your windows are up when they walk up to the car, they cannot see what you are doing (i.e do you have a gun?). If you want to start off on the right foot, roll all your windows down as you are pulling over, and then put both hands on top of the wheel and wait until the CHP asks for your License and registration. I have two close friends that are CHP, and they both have said that as far as tickets for the BS minutia (tint, no front plate, clear cover on plates, etc) there are "jerks" that will ticket you for that (just like there are (insert foul word) in all lines of work, but most have better things to do and take their real jobs seriously.
