You only wanna relocate the MAF if youre gonna be running a VTA BOV

Because the OP is experiencing problems in the same GENERAL AREA, I would suggest calling Chevrolet Customer Service, the telephone number is in the back of your Owners Book.

If you express your concerns logically and rationally, they will in turn, notify the dealer about your concerns.....thus placing some emphasis to the dealer regarding proper/correct diagnosis.

Im running a VTA BOV and i guess im one of the lucky ones that ahs had not a single problem, i simply used a block off plate for the stock bypass valve and took that vacuum line to the BOV and no problems. When i go big turbo im gonna do the relocation for sure though

I've had mine come on 3 times on 08 ss. The dealer first blamed the k & n till i told them i had it on for 12,000 miles before problem. They cleared engine light twice after that. After third time they were going to replace air sensor.but 2 wks later told me part was no longer available.GM would now replace the whole turbo unit.Part was on back order for 2 month .Finally mid Jan part came in.When car was at dealer found a broken part on turbo out of box.2 wks later part was installed. No problems since then.I actually think the turbo sounds louder than before.
