My 1st suspect would be that the geniuses at the dealer put regular 87 octane gas and not premium 91 or higher as recommended.

Oh, I drove one also (around the block). I asked the salesman, "Dont yall put gas in these things?" Low fuel light was on. What a dork. Great selling point for an SS test drive (around the block). After that, I decided just to go on my merry way with my 2.2 SRM.

On more thing

I'm not sure what the final axle ratio is on the SS % speed, i would assume pretty low considering the 30mpg, but turbo's need rpm. My 2.2 120hp 150trq s10 takes off faster than my HHR for the first few feet, but it has a 4.10 rear end, lol.
