These controls are great. Now, if I can quit hitting the mute button by accident...it would be even better.

Give it about 6 months. That's about how long it took me to quit hitting it.

He was there when I started, but I told him to leave, as he was making me very nervous and I didn't think he needed to learn any more swear words than he already knows.

You are my heroine! I've seen a couple threads where you did mods on your own and I am flabergasted! Not that I didn't think that us ladies could accomplish anything on a car. I grew up in Daddy's garage and have been around tools all my life but never really had the confidence to take these things on myself.

I can't wait to add these and without BF's help (except for maybe his tools )

Thanks Bettie...doing this was quite an accomplishment. As you read...he tried to help and just got in the way and on my nerves, so I basically said, "Don't go away mad...just go away" Was hovering over me like beekie buzzard and made me very nervous. Once he was gone, it went pretty quickly once I figured out how to get the horn assembly off. I too grew up with my dad teaching me car stuff...in fact I remember breaking down tires by hand at home and putting new ones on and then just taking them to get air and a few weights put on them.

Until now, I haven't really done any modding to a car...biggest thing I ever did was having an aftermarket head unit installed. This car is easy to work on and gives you a sense of accomplishment when you're done. Take the plunge...your boyfriend I'm sure will be as impressed as mine has become since I starting doing stuff myself.
