I wonder if I should just get an 06 switch cover and paint it? I am getting impatiant.

 

What is different about the switch cover will one for an 06 not work????

 

From what I remember reading in the 31 other pages of this thread, it appears that they are a different color for one thing. I think I also remember someone saying that they were recessed more using the 06 stuff. Not sure whether or not that was an install thing or if the buttons are indeed different.

One option for doing them might be to paint them so that both sides match, if that's an option someone would like to explore.

I will look back in this thread and see if I can find the post I remember seeing about the ones for the 06 not working like they should and quote it and bring it to the top.

 

Check out post #200 & 299...they have part numbers...not sure if they are verified...but they are there.

Hey guys I installed my radio buttons, and painted the covers for both switches to match my orange paint. I did have help from my HHR Panel owning neighbor. The buttons are the best thing since sliced bread, Thanks for the great idea, oh and the switch covers look killer in Orange

Yea it is my we live right around the corner from each other... he is the one that told me about the panel.... but i still got mine FIRST :o)~
