I am speaking for mike, Because it's a great mod for someone that might have missed it ................... I missed it when it was 1st posted. I was looking at the how to post and found it. It works very well. Fog lights on when you want off when you want. Low beams on or off. Have had it done since about the 20th of dec.

Hey, just a question, where did you get the part? I tried doing a google search as well as a search on Autozone/Advanced Auto and come up with nothing.

I got it from a chevy dealer, they are GM parts, not aftermarket.

Cool, I just now found the GMPartsDirect.com site and punched in the part number, there it is! I may just stop by my local dealer to see if they have it in stock to save time and possibly money. I already contacted them to see if they have an OnStar/Bluetooth module that can be installed.

This mod Not for 09 or SS models

Guys,

Don't waste your time trying this mod on the 09 cars and SS models, we have a different dash and fog switch.

It is back to square one for us...perhaps in a relay somewhere lies our fix for fog lights.

No problems at all so far. I'm loving it!

As I suggested, pull them and test first, would have saved you some cash. Sorry it didn't work on an '09.

Thing is.......you don't need to tear into you car for no reason.

Make it easy, If it is newer than 08 or an SS the switch change won't work because the switch is totally different in size.

Don't bother doing like me, buying parts that don't fit.
