Awesome! I did this by accident myself replacing the factory radio. I love having the fog lights on with the driving lights. I just hated hitting the Fog Light button every time.

This is going to be my first mod.

 

i have an 09 lt and dont have fog lights already installed. but i did get some after market ones for christmas. i am just wondering if anyone has any pointers or know how on how to get these put in.

because when i changed my headlights a few months ago i noticed something that looked like a place to possibly plug in some fog lights. am i wrong about that?

my other major question is how do i get those shutter looking fillers in the fog lights place out?

Its easy to install aftermarket stuff just follow instructions. As for the fog light dummy inserts, easiest way to remove is to remove your bumper and then you can see his they kinda clip in. From what I remember they Clip in very hard and are a ***** to take out without seeing what you are doing. To remove bumper is easy. Four small bolts around center. Then on either side fender Wells there are 3 boots I believe.

 

Where do I find the foglight wiring harness in the engine compartment? I found the connection at the dash board , but not the other end to connect the lights. Help thanks

 

it should be next to where the lights plug into the bumper, if you don't see it there, you will have to wire it in yourself. you can probably buy the connectors and terinals from GM directly.
