You don’t use the 3/8 tool, you squeeze the two sides of the plastic coupler, round side up , flat side down, with a pair of pliers, then gently wiggle the plastic coupler and pull the metal bundy out of the plastic fitting.

Your right the tool will not release the locking plastic spring .


Best picture, I could find, squeeze them sides not the round and flat , the green part will open up and unlock the bundy.

well I reached my limit tried everything even your idea still will not come a part taking a break for a while because I'am really frustrated

 

just looked at it one more time decided to cut the line at the connection and use 3/8 fuel line and clamps thanks for all your help

Good luck with the hose & clamps. I'm sure you know that is a hi-pressure line.

 

If you cut the OEM steel line and the new steel line , you should use a compression union to mate the two steel lines together.
