Are you saying that the new lines have quick connects, but what's on the vehicle does not?

Sorry for not being clear, the line into the gas tank is a quick connect and the metal line is supposed to have a nub about an inch back to clip onto. How do I make that nub.

Use a compression fitting and an adaptor
3/8 or 10 mm compression fitting

I hope I don't end up with THAT problem. Looks too much like plumbing. And I have been doing household plumbing for the last 3 weeks or better and I'm about over it! Plumbing manufacturers need their asses beat...just sayin. It is ridiculous it's not standard fittings between brands. Off my soap box.
