Repair Key Fob Remote's worn out contacts
Or Buy a New Remote Case
Another alternative to getting a new remote is to get a new case. The locksmith near me sells the cases, which include a new silicone keypad, for $9.50. Take out the old circuit board, snap it into the new case, and you're set.
Get an old calculator cut the lil contact pads off cut the ones off yer key fob the silicone the new ones in. Tada did it to mine np since. You can also buy a jar of that contact paint cant remember where tho was an online electrical supplier. Made the stuff
after about a year and a half, have had this in my fobs......totally fixed to this day. prior, couldnt open the door til i was bout 5 feet away.........

Yeah! I just did the tin foil glued to the contacts too, worked great!
I previously soldered the center tab of the battery case;
cleaned contacts with a rubber pencil eraser and alcohol,
but the last fix, with tin foil glued on the contacts (w/Super Glue) made everything work!
Saved $100!

My keylessfix came in the mail today. I am not really sure how it could take 4 days to get to Ohio from Michigan, but the shipping was free, so....
Anyway, it worked!, but not immediately. I went out and manually unlocked the doors, relocked them, and it worked after that.
