I cant edit the original post, seems the time limit has expired. Should be able to edit posts indefinitely in my opinion. Can a mod please edit it for me?
I found out how to correct the youtube link. Delete the current youtube link and add:
[url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=VoelZo55Ahs"]Bad Tensioner Rattle[url]
add a slash before the last url ^^^^^^

Part came in today, heavy little sucker. I'm guessing that's an oil smudge on your new on. I thought it was a hole.....

Yeah this is an oily job, have a rag in hand when you remove it.

I just replaced the tensioner on my 96K panel. Way quieter on start up. I do have a question though. There was a piece of paper in the box with the part that stated the locking mechanism had to be released once installed. It was stated here that the oil pressure from the engine would release it. Am I o.k. here with just starting it up or is there something else I need to do?

Thanks for the write up. This was way easy and if I have to do nothing else it will be awsome. The thing that took the most time was the removal and replacement of the air box.

Sounds kinda like you got the "old" part. You do need to release that one. I have not done the "new" one myself. Did it look just like the one you pulled out or like the one prod had?

To release you have to remove the valve cover and put a rod of some sort (plastic or wood) down by the end and give it a whack.
